Stan is the Man !  Amazing how he still plays as if he is 20 years old!  The show was with him center stage with an upright bass.  Drummer Lenny White, who I loved on Return to Forever, did a great job keeping the time but I wasn’t very impressed with his soloing and overall player.  The drummer who was on the last tour, Michael Mitchell, I thought was a much better fit for this band, although some would say he overplayed a little.  (you can see video of last tour here).  The most impressive of the night was Beka Gochiashvili on piano.  WOW is all I can say.  Check him out if you can…21 years old and already making his mark!
